What to Do When You Feel Lonely

Do you ever feel lonely? As in “nobody cares about me” lonely?

Loneliness is one of the worst feelings in the world. In fact, loneliness is more than a feeling. It’s a feeling produced by a thought. 

 A wrong thought.

 The wrong thought is that nobody cares about you. And that is a lie. Satan loves to use this lie to trick you into depression.

 You see, the truth is that God cares about you. And since God cares about you, that is all you really need.

 The next time Satan tempts you with the lie that nobody cares about you, remember this verse from Psalm 27:10:
"Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.”
