What Is Your Keyword for the Year?

Hey, Gabriel Girls!

 Happy New Year! Are you excited about what God is going to do in your life this year?


One of the ways I start my new year is by asking Holy Spirit to give me a word that will be my focus for the year. Some words He has given me in the past include love, wisdom, and grace.Throughout the year, Holy Spirit teaches me new truths about the word He has given me and provides me opportunities to put that word into practice.

 My word for this year is surrender. To surrender means to subject all of my thoughts, ideas, and actions to the will of God. As the year progresses, I will be paying attention to Holy Spirit as He teaches me more and more about what it means to surrender to Him. 

God has a keyword for you, too.  Ask Him to show you what it is and then share it with us by leaving a comment below.  Also, post your word wherever you will see it often, and then keep your spiritual eyes and spiritual ears open to what Holy Spirit wants to teach you about your keyword throughout the year.
